My love for art and horses runs deep—something I believe is etched into my very being. From a young age, I was drawn to capturing animals on paper, especially horses. At 15, everything shifted when I received two life-changing gifts: my first camera and my first horse—a wary Polish Arabian mare with a complicated past.
She roamed freely across nearly 100 acres and wanted nothing to do with people. So, I met her where she was: camera in hand, pockets full of oats, and heart wide open. I watched, waited, and let her come to me. Over time, trust replaced distance, and our connection grew into something extraordinary.
She, along with my beloved late gelding Dudley and other equine companions in my professional career, became both my inspiration and my teachers. They shaped my understanding of presence, patience, and story—principles that now guide my art.
Through my lens, I don’t just take photos—I create fine art. Each image is a quiet story, a moment held still in time, offering a glimpse into how I experience the world: with reverence, curiosity, and an unwavering love for the creatures who share it with us.
